Well, we've had this blog for a couple weeks with only 1 post, so figured it was time to update (this is Chris)!
The wedding is approaching quite rapidly - March 13, which we can't believe is now only 57(!) days away (unreal...just did the math!).
There's still a ton to plan...something tells me we should have gotten on this a bit earlier! That said, it is a bit difficult when you have an 11-month old at home who tends to monopolize our time!
I can't stress enough how fortunate we are to have a wedding planner (thanks mom & dad!), I can't see how this could be done without her! Even though the overall planning process by us may not have been the best, and we probably should have been on it far earlier, we are pretty confident everything will go smoothly and it will make for a great day/night!
Onto the wedding/reception - if anyone actually reads this blog (doubtful), I would like to request you to leave in the comments sections songs that you think should be played during the reception, and songs that absolutely SHOULD NOT. Here are a couple obvious ones I have (don't worry - the booty shakin' music will be covered by Julie):
SHOULD: Don't Stop Believin' (obvi), God Bless The Broken Road, Friends In Low Places, Walking In Memphis, Back Where I Come From, Somethin' to Believe In, Hail to the Victors
SHOULD NOT: Celebration, YMCA, Macarena, MSU Fight Song
Obviously this is just a start, any responses would be appreciated!
ON TO CAM:
What a little firecracker this kid is! Absolutely unbelievable that in under a month (Feb 14) he will be 1 year old!
He is now standing on his own pretty consistently, and we are pretty sure he will be walking soon. Honestly, we think he probably could walk if he put his mind to it, he just doesn't realize it yet!
He is obviously into everything at this stage - he is all over the place! Definitely funny and enjoyable to watch and see him develop.
You can tell he has a bit of that Crowder mischief in him - not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing!
Anyway - I will let Julie post the majority of the pictures on here because I don't really know how to do that, and I don't really have access to the pictures. Hopefully this is a good opening post for the blog, though, and we can keep it updated on a pretty consistent basis!
