Time Flies - Don't Blink

Before we had a baby, everyone told us how much faster life flies by with kids. And I believed them, in the same way someone who has never experienced it can. Well this last week was a stark dose of reality. Time is flying by so fast – some days too fast…here’s a quick update on Cameron, no longer our baby but our little boy.

Cameron will be 15 months old this week!
This blows my mind! I feel like he’s been a part of our lives forever. Life without him is a rapidly fading memory. This is also true about Chris – this week will be our 2 month wedding anniversary – it seems like just yesterday... Can’t imagine nor would I want life without them – these Crowder guys are something very special!

Oh – we were putting this off! Cameron’s wavy hair is so fun we were very reluctant to cut it.  We finally broke down when the poor kid couldn’t see through his wavy locks.  Alas the dreaded cut…he did a GREAT job sitting still letting Miss Jenny cut his hair! We even caught him flirting with her - what a trip!  Pictures are above.  The end result is absolutely adorable – we survived the 1st haircut!
Enjoying every Moment...
All I can say is that the age old cliché of “Enjoy it” is not ill-advised.  Take every moment and love it for all it is worth….because next week the kiddos will be a seemingly different child. It is a thoroughly enjoyable trip though.  Now I truly understand what parents mean when they say, “It goes so fast.”

ps – last night Chris and Cameron chanted GO BLUE, GO BLUE, GO BLUE for an entire car ride while we were out running errands. Safe to say these Wolverines are ready for football season!!
