Summer 2013

Well, 4th of July is nearly upon us, man that happened fast!  We are really looking forward to heading up to Torch Lake with the kids on the 4th to spend with the Cramers and Holtz's.  Should be a great, and hopefully relaxing, time up there!  Will be interesting to see what Cam and Jonathan think of the lake and fireworks and everything!

Some other stuff that has happened this spring/summer:

- Cam played his first official season of Tee Ball, and did great!  It was a little tough for him to keep focused throughout the game at first, but he really came along and did great.  Oh, and he was super pumped to get his medal!

- Jonathan is officially now "everywhere".  Definitely well into the crawling stage, if we take our eyes off him for a moment he is in another room!  He is definitely a curious guy...just wish he was more content with exploring things around where we are instead of always having to get to another location!

- Cameron has moved up to Pre-Kidnergarten at his Day Care and is doing great!  Still over a year away from starting official school, but he will definitely be ready when he does.  And I think I will be more ready than anyone, if only to get rid of that day care bill!

And some things we are looking forward to:

- Obviously the 4th of July and trip up to Torch Lake, should be a blast!

- Golf Outing for Julie's Mom on July 20 - this is now the 4th official year of the golf outing I believe, and it is a great event.  Big props to Dean for keeping the tradition going, and really hoping we can bring home the Win this year!

- Great Wolf Lodge towards the end of August - continuing our annual tradition, we will be going the weekend before football season starts as always.  Cam always has a great time, but this year will be extra interesting as it will be Jonathan's first year there.  Will definitely be interesting to see how he takes to it, and if he enjoys being in the water!  We are actually expanding our stay to 2 nights this year, so we will probably also figure out something separate to do in the Traverse City area during our stay!

- Football season!  Obviously super excited for this, as always.  An in-depth post is probably premature and not necessary here, but suffice it to say I think big things could be in store for Michigan this year!  Really excited to see Gardner lead this team, I think his potential is through the roof.  Definitely excited for the rest of summer, but I am ready for football season too!

So, that's about it for now!  Julie can add some pictures later, it is unbelievable how fast the guys are growing!
