SPRING TIME

Well Spring is here, or just about - though you wouldn't necessarily know from the weather yet!  We are looking forward to it though - and one big reason at least for me - GOLF!  I actually got out on the course to play 18 last weekend, and while it was a little chilly, it was great to be back out there.  I actually played pretty well too...surprising for the first round of the season!

That said, I don't think I am the only one in the Crowder Family who will be enjoying the sport going forward!  My parents actually got some mini clubs for Cam, and he is becoming increasingly obsessed every day.  Julie, Cam, and I actually went to a heated driving range a couple times, and Cam was loving it!  And I must add - Julie took the chance to hit a few balls and showed she is pretty good herself!  Here is a video of Cam hitting a golf ball - you can see the potential already!

Other Stuff
  • A big congratulations to Julie and me for hitting our 1 year anniversary on March 13!  It's been a great year, and here's to many more!
  • We are in the process of House Hunting (kind of).  The condo has just gotten too small, so we are looking to rent it out and buy a house.  It will be a huge change, but will be so nice to actually have enough space!  We actually currently have an offer in on a house, but it is a short sale, and we are waiting for the banks to respond to our offer, which apparently can take awhile (and the waiting is nerve-wracking).  So we will see how it goes, and hopefully we will have a new home before too long!
  • I have to give some love to my Michigan Basketball team!  For a team that was expected to finish at the bottom of the pack to make it to the NCAA Tournament and win a game was unbelievable!  And we should be better next year assuming Darius Morris doesn't decide to go pro (don't do it D-Mo!).  There have actually been some early rankings coming out for next year, and most that I have seen have Michigan in the #10-15 range.  Gonna be a fun year next year!
  • Michigan Football is in the middle of spring practice, and I can't wait to see what they bring to the table next year.  It will certainly be an interesting year with the new coaching staff.  Plenty remains to be seen, but my way too early predicition is 8-4 (though I am really hoping 9-3).
