CHRISTMASTIME

Well, we obviously haven't been keeping up on posts lately, but figured Christmas-time was a good time to update the site!  Some general goings-on:

  • Christmas!: Obviously we are all gearing up for Christmas; we are having Christmas at our new house this year, which should be fun!  Cam is PUMPED UP!  This is probably the first year he really gets Christmas, and man, does he get it!  I never realized Advertisers were as good at their job until now...seems like every toy commercial gains Cam's interest immediately, with a follow-up request for whatever it was as a Christmas present!  We will probably spoil him this year (and if we don't I am sure my parents will), but it will definitely be fun!  And a side benefit of the whole Christmas/Santa thing - if Cam is acting up he now understands what the "Naughty List" is, so we can always go to that if we are desperate, and he will usually start behaving!
  • House: Man, is it nice to have space!  While it can be daunting at times keeping up the house, and definitely expensive, it is well worth it!  I can tell you this - it is much more comfortable living in a 2,500 SF house than a 1,000 SF condo with a family of 3!
  • Michigan Football: What a great year!  10-2 far exceeded pretty much anyone's realistic expectations, and we look to be in good shape for the future with Brady Hoke at the helm.  This was just a really fun year in general, and I would have to say probably 2 of my favorite UM games that I have ever been to - the "Under the Lights" Notre Dame game and the Ohio State game where we finally broke our losing streak!  Over all a great success, and a great reward with a BCS Bowl.  Speaking of the Sugar Bowl...
  • Sugar Bowl: Well, we couldn't help it - Julie and I are heading down to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl!  We are meeting my buddies Cramer and Holtz and their wives down there as well.  We will only be gone for a couple days, but it is going to be one heckuva time regardless!  We cannot wait!  And Go Blue, beat the Hokies!
